The York Rite of South Carolina Foundation, Inc. (PHA) is a Corporation organized under the General Non-Profit Corporation Law of South Carolina Statutes. The Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational (scholarship and student aid) and benevolent purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 and 1986 or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Laws.

The membership in the Foundation consist of Prince Hall Grand Council Royal and Select Masters Jurisdiction of South Carolina, Princess Eugenia Grand Court Ladies of the Circle of Perfection, The Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons Jurisdiction of South Carolina, Rahab Grand Court Heroines of Jericho of South Carolina, Palmetto Grand Commandery Knight Templar, PHA, and Palmetto Grand Guild Heroines of Templar Crusaders Prince Hall Affiliation

Our existence is to support and encourage education. The Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational (scholarship and student aid) and benevolent purposes. The Foundation work with, is supportive of and give full aid and support to the needy in the communities in South Carolina at large; without regard to race, creed, religion or color, wherever found to be needy and wanting.
